Marina Pink
Marina Pier is pleased to announce it’s partnership with Flinders Foundation to bring you MARINA PINK! Across all of October, Marina Pier, in collaboration with Flinders Foundation will turn pink in honour of patients and those living well with or after cancer, raising awareness as well as much-needed funds.
So how do we plan to do this? Nearly all businesses along Marina Pier have created pink-themed occasions or offers, just for Marina Pink, ranging from food themes to cocktails and fun activities. We could not be more pleased to have this opportunity to raise essential funds for Flinders Foundation, who are at the forefront of research and care for South Australian cancer sufferers. All hospitality venues will donate part proceeds of each bill to Flinders Foundation.
Where are funds going?
Funds raised will go towards supporting leading technicians in their research across Flinders Medical Centre, and Flinders University. Flinders Foundation is a leader in supporting South Australian medical advances, funding cutting edge research notable for progress in the fight against breast cancer research and enhancing patient care.

Flinders Foundation works together with individuals and organisations in the community to support health and medical research and improve patient care. Together, they raise vital funds to support researchers and clinicians to make new discoveries and deliver better treatment and care for patients and their families. Flinders Foundation proudly supports Flinders University and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – which includes Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital, the Repat Health Precinct, and community health sites.
Marina Pier is proudly supporting their goal to improve the lives of people and their families affected by a wide range of illnesses, diseases and social issues to create positive change both withing our community, and across the globe towards this important cause. With the generous support of donors, funding creates opportunities to innovate cancer research into cancer prevention and early intervention.
